Review: The Chapel Wars - Lindsey Leavitt

Holly's Grandfather owns a wedding chapel in Las Vegas and has prided himself on offering weddings -traditional to those who have come to Vegas to get married but does not want the tackiness like his opposition who offers packaged weddings from Twilight which is the current rage - people want to be married next to an Edward Cullen Cut-out or of course because it's Las Vegas being married by an Elvis impersonator which I have to be honest I find so corny and it is so overdone. When Holly's grandfather dies he leaves in his will - the wedding chapel to 16 yr old Holly to do as she will and try and get it back on track , Holly discovers in a letter from her Grandad that the Wedding Chapel is in huge debt and if a miracle doesn't happen quickly then she may lose the last thing she has to connect and remember her grandfather.  With her Grandad now dead, it seems like her Grandad's arch-enemy Vince wants to buy out the chapel and soon it will be every Chapel for themselves as the Chapel Wars begin.  What will happen though when Holly starts to fall for her opposition's grandson Dax ? Can Holly save her inheritance and make it back to a Chapel that everyone wants to get married in ? Can Holly prove herself to all those who are counting on her to fail , that her Grandad did the right thing in leaving his chapel to her ?
This was a fun teenage read and focuses not only on the teen romance aspect, but also the ins and outs of being an entreprenuial teenage in today's business world.
If you loved The Wedding Planner and 27 Dresses movies  , then this is the book for you.
