Review: Bone Deep - Brooklyn Skye - September 2014

Krister Ledoux has tried everything to distance himself from his father, but no matter what he does he is haunted by the accident that his father caused while driving a train that killed 8 people and injured many others. Now his father is awaiting trial and sitting in prison and Krister feels the urge to discover the lives of those his father killed. If that wasn't enough, Krister is recieving letters from someone about his father's case and he knows it is from someone who lost someone they cared about on the train that fateful day that changed not only the lives of those who died and their families but also Kristers. During the book Krister makes several trips down to the train station and spots a girl sitting there . The girl's name is Cambria and soon Krister and Cam hit it off and start dating, but there is a dark secret brewing that connects the both of them to that fateful day and also the answer of the letters will be revealed as it turns out that Cam lost her mother in the train accident.  Can Love overpower the hurt of the past or will when the truth be revealed , be too much and split them apart no matter how much they love each other ? Are we really our parent's children or can we start fresh and be ourselves rather than lean on history of the past ?
Find out in Bone Deep by Brooklyn Skye , another edgy YA novel.
