Review: Crashing the Boards - Jami Davenport

Review: Crashing the Boards - Book #2 Game on in Seattle - Jami Davenport - November 2014

Reading through the Playing for Passion anthology it has given me a few new authors and book series to try out. One of the stories I enjoyed was Crashing the Boards. Crashing the Boards introduces us to Cooper and his team. They have just been sold to a new manager and changes are on their way as the team hasn't been performing as well as they should on the ice. The owner has decided to host a party to show good faith , and that's where we meet Izzy - her and her sisters are party crashers and have been doing this since they were in their early teens to survive and be fed. Over the years, they have become experts at it and now own their own Party Crashing business and have been hired to get the party started. If only she could get Cooper to see how good an opportunity this is for her team mates. Over the night , Izzy pretends to be Cooper's girlfriend but what will happen when what turns out to be harmless fun could lead to something more ? Will Izzy break one of their cardinal rules and hook up with Cooper or will she remember that the business always comes first ?
Find out in Crashing the Boards by Jami Davenport. This was a good book, but finished a tad early in my opinion as I could have seen it expanding into a number of different situations and building of the main characters.  For readers, this is the only thing standing in the way of this book becoming a HR instead of the 5Ps it is recieving.
