Review: Twin Piques - Tracie Bannister

Review: Twin Piques - Tracie Banister - January 2015

One of my favourite things that I love to read about in books is stories with identical twins , as despite their similarites they are definitely opposites as is the case with Willa and Sloane Tobin. Willa is a free-spirited dog whisperer and Sloane is a straight-laced accountant. There are two things though that these girls have in common and that is their not-so-good luck in men and that they are both extremely good at their jobs and what they do. In Twin Piques , Willa meets Brody while they are both waiting to do a piece on the morning TV show "DayBreak" and Sloane has been busy dating on the sly her boss Josh . What will happen though when things are going so great and trouble appears for the both of them ? Willa's trouble occurs when Brody's ex-wife turns up seven months pregnant and wants him back and Brody being the good guy accepts his responsibility. What will happen though when through Brody's dog Roxie - Willa discovers the truth about Justine and her baby bump ? For Sloane - her relationship is halted when she walks in on the engagement announcement of Josh and their big boss's daughter Monica. However, for Sloane will she finally come to terms and realise that her Mr. Right has been standing on the sidelines since they were young ? Can the twins help each other help and rely on their strengths or will their different personalities drive them apart and end up making the situations worse ? This book is the perfect read for anyone who has a twin or a close sister sibling relationship as they will understand the up's and down's of Willa and Sloane's sisterly bond.
