Review: The Golden Keys - Harsha Rigney - June 2015
From local Tauranga author and astrologist comes a new age spirtiual guide called "The Golden Keys" . Over the last thirty years Harsha has been counselling and now all her knowledge has been put between the pages of The Golden Keys to help readers discover and even for some rediscover the love and enjoyment that has been missing in their lives. In her powerful and inspiring book , Harsha shares with readers the ability and root causes of our needs to give love and recieve it but also that when we have no love, that is when suffering can come about . The Golden Keys is written with powerful chapters to think about, reflect and let soak in alongside with little tidbits of wisdom, ancedotes and for those who love doing writing when they are reflecting , the book also includes some practical suggestions and excercises so that we readers can put into action what we have just read. One of my favourite things about the book that is separating each chapter is an amazing full-colour page of a spiritual new age mandala design which if you are like me, you will find not only so beautiful and stunning but also quite soothing and relaxing at the same time.
If you are into discovering your spiritual New Age side and want to try something different in the field of self-improvement , then why not take a chance and purchase your copy of "The Golden Keys" by Harsha Rigney today.
Copies can be found along with more information on her website @ http://astrovision.co.nz/
Review: The Girl Without a Name - Sandra Block - September 2015
Are you a fan of psychological thrillers ? Love reading your mysteries ? The Girl Without a Name by Sandra Block was a fast paced thriller set in a hospital in the Mental Wards. It focused on mainly Dr. Zoe Goldman and her boss Dr. Tad Berringer. During one of Zoe's rounds , a girl turns up in the ward - a 12/13 year old black girl who is catatonic . The girl can't remember anything and is called Jane Doe. As the story goes on, we read as Zoe makes it her priority to discover the girl's true identity and help her find her family as someone must be out looking for her and so begins her journey as an almost detective tracking down clues to Jane Doe's real identity. In doing so, we also discover that Zoe is currently seeing a shrink herself due to her ADHD and also we learn more about the RIKE Test and different patients in the ward . This helps the reader learn and understand more about Mental Illnesses and I found it quite interesting to have factual information in between a fictional thriller. The Girl Without a Name is not a book you will want to put down as you have to keep reading it as you want to know who Jane Doe is and how she turned up in the hospital and not to spoil it for you readers but The Girl with No Name has a major and when I say major, I mean MAJOR twist at the end of the book which I totally did not see coming .
The Girl with No Name by Sandra Block,is one of the best thrillers that I have read for 2015 and readers , you will not be disappointed.

Review: Twinsequences - Book #1 Twisted Twin - Jennifer Foor - July 2013
Once upon a time there were two twin girls -Ivy and Willow , they did everything together and they cared about each other. Right up till their senior year at high school when Willow fell in love with Stoshua and instead of taking Willow to prom which she dreamed of, he took Ivy and started dating her. This broke Willow's heart ,eventually Ivy and Willow went their separate ways and Ivy married Stoshua. Four years later, Ivy rings Willow and says she needs her help and that she has to pretend to be her for a couple of days. This reminded me of the Lying Game with Sutton and Emma. Turns out though that this is a major ploy and really that Ivy is a manipulative and conniving cow and that what Willow has believed her whole life was a lie and that Ivy is pyschotic and so begins a dark twisted tale of sibling hate and manipulation to ruin everything Willow has made of herself and to turn everyone against her and of course since more often than not people always believe the dramatic compulsive liar type person as they are charming , people take Ivy's side and make Willow the bad girl in the picture. Can Willow finally stand up for herself and bring Ivy down a few notches or will she cower and let Ivy ruin her life once and for all ? In a way I found this book a little hard to read especially the second half as I found it written a bit disjointed for my liking but parts of it unfortunately reminded me of my family and what I have been through with siblings and how in some cases due to jealousy, I was made to look like the bad person in the scenario. I think it's due to personal experience and being around people who are sociopaths and have psychopathic tendencies made me enjoy this book a bit more than I probably would have if I hadn't any knowledge of the above.

Rike and Peyton fell in love in college.
A boy from the wrong side of the tracks, covered in ink and crooning in a bar is the last person a straight laced girl with a art major should fall for, but his rough edges made her jagged, alive, shaving away the coddled southern princess and revealing a soul wild and brilliant.
They fell in love, despite her family and his past and all the reasons why it wouldn't work--and with their best friends, they made a life. Everyone was supposed to live happily ever after.
They, more than anyone, knows that life doesn't go according to plan.
Rike and Peyton fell in love in college. A boy with a guitar, and a poet's heart, and a girl with freckles dusted over her nose, a perfect fucking fairy tale.
But what happens when the fairy tale doesn't fall apart--but is forgotten?
