Review: The Hook-Up List - Dakota Madison - January 2014

In a world where it seems everyone is jumping on the New Adult bandwagon, after a while everything seems to feel like you are reading the same book over and over again. So when you find one that stands out from the rest , you are like YAY. The Hookup list by Dakota Madison was one of those books. The only downside to this book was the cover as the characters look older than College Age and also the main girl is supposed to be Brazilian and the cover model to me looks too white to be a Brazilian. Ana has been accepted into college and wants to be a Doctor so she has her eyes set on studying and making good grades with no distractions. Christopher has come to study in order to become a Lawyer though his real passion is English Lit and Shakespeare is his idol. Many others see College as a time to play the field and hook-up with as many guys/girls as they can and at this college, there is a list. The list is sent out weekly and is known as the Hook-Up List rating the top 10 girls each week to hook-up with. Can Ana and Christopher just hook-up or are they both looking for something a little more deeper ?

Review: Steel Princess - Book #2 Royal Elite Series - Rina Kent - December 2019 At the end of Book #1, we were left on a cliffhanger of Elsa being pushed into the pool. At the beginning of book #2, she is saved by a newcomer to the school - Knox.  We can see some friendly flirting but nothing more going on between these two, but it riles up Aiden who still has this mindset of "if I can't have her, no-one can" especially since he is supposed to be engaged to Silver Queens. During Book #2 Elsa starts to recall some more memories and goes to Dr.Khan in hopes that he can open her Pandora's box and can restore her full memories of what happened before she was seven years old. Review: Dr. Strange Beard - Book #5 Winston Brothers Series - Penny Reid - July 2018 If there is a family that I love to read about it has been the Winston Brothers. This has to be one of my favorite book series out there as the brothers ; you can't help but fall in love with them all - with their funny quirks and their redneck comments.
