VBT# Finding Sadie - Brandace Morrow

Review: Finding Sadie - Book #0.5 Los Rancheros Series and Book #1 Finding Sadie Serial - Brandace Morrow -December 2014

Sadie grew up in a trailer park and dreamed of escaping it , she had one thing going for her - her voice, the thing though is that she didn't have the greatest upbringing, when she was fifteen years old - she was discovered and became a famous singer with her brother and sister Tammy and Brian as her managers and publicity representives. As the years pass, Sadie started to live a double life and became the persona of Popper - the lead singer in a grunge metal band . Later of course she took the route that sadly most childhood stars do, she became addicted to drugs and found herself hitting rock bottom and found herself signed into rehab. After her stint in rehab Popper decided to attend a shrink and during her sessions , she started to find her true self again and Sadie started to emerge after years of hiding within. During one of the sessions, her shrink suggests to go out and do something crazy and take a risk - this landed Sadie in front of the Cancer Ward for Children dressed as Robin where she became the sidekick to Batman aka Batty.
Finding Sadie was a quick read and gives you the background story which in Book #2 we understand a bit more.
Readers, the reason that this book is short and quick is that the author originally wrote it as a prequel to her series Los Rancheros but later decided to make it Book #1 of a new serial titled Finding Sadie.
If you love Music Novels,  but more so self-discovery and journey reads, then Finding Sadie is the book for you.
