Review: Amour Amour - Becca and Kristie Ritchie

Amour Amour (Aerial Ethereal, #1)

Review: Amour Amour - Book #1 Aerial Etheral - Krista and Becca Ritchie - December 2014

This has been one book that I have kept meaning to read and a friend at work encouraged me to get on with it and read it, and I am glad I did as I LOVED IT.  Ever since Thora James was fourteen years old, all she has ever wanted to do was join the circus as an aerial acrobat. Her dream job has come up with only one spot open, and so Thora decides to go for it. She packs her stuff up and heads to Las Vegas -home of the Amour Circus. While there she crashes with a bartender whom she found on a couch surfing site. While waiting for her new friend to finish work, she heads to the bar she works at and comes face to face with the Russians who are part of the Amour circus. Apparently, they come every weekend with a challenge for the crowd, if you can beat them - then it's your lucky day but if not then it's a tattoo or piercing. Thora captures their attention, and one thing leads to another, and she ends up with a nipple piercing. At the auditions the next day, she is face to face with the guy who pierced her nipple - Nikolai Kotova. His family is the circus, and the audition is to be his new partner in the show. Thora misses out, but that doesn't mean it's game over for her as Nik offers to train Thora. The pair starts off as platonic friends and then as the book moves along, the pair become more intimate with the chemistry sizzling off the pages.  What will happen though when another spot opens for the different circuses that the Kotova family run including Amour? Will this finally be Thora's chance to have her dream come true or will Thora and Nik be forced to make a decision that they had always leaned one way in the past - the circus or their love for one another?
I have to admit there was something about Becca and Krista Ritchie's writing that hooks you in from page one and you find yourself not wanting to put it down as you must read more.
