Review: The Blogger and the Hunk - Jane Matisse - September 2016 I have to admit I had high hopes for this book and I wonder if that's why I gave it a lower rating as it didn't grab me as much as I had originally thought it would. Though Penelope the main character was considered a hermit and not one to choose to club as she would prefer a night in with a good book and a glass of wine. I had assumed she would have come across more of a book lover as this one barely touched on her blogging and when she did blog it was more like diary entries rather than blogging of sorts. On a whim, Penelope heads out with her two friends, and it seems like Penelope is the DUFF of the group. Like the other two hook-up with guys at the bar, Penelope drinks and people watch. During her time at the bar, she meets Jack aka The Hunk. He is out with his friends and strikes up a conversation with Penelope, she isn't his type at all, but there is something about her he can...

It's a risky move for her because they are both there, two impossibly good looking men whose lives are inseparably entwined with hers. One who bruised her heart and one who smashed it into pieces. VBT# Rye Must Die - Dakota Madison and Savannah Young

Review: Rye Must Die - Book #1 Izzy and Max Paranormal Investigations - Dakota Madison and Savannah Young - July 2015 From my favourite author comes another great book using her pen names, whenever I see anything written by Dakota Madison or Savannah Young, I know that they are definite reads and that I will love them to bits and Rye Must Die did not disappoint. In Rye Must Die , we are taken  back to Old Town - which is where you may remember the Wilde Brothers lived with their tavern. One of my favourite things about this author's work is more often than not each of her books contain characters from previous titles and series and have a crossover feel. In Rye Must Die , we catch a glimpse of Harley who married Jake and seems like they have a bun in the oven. The main character in Rye must Die is outcast Izzy who has taken over her Grandmother's antique shop in order to gain her inheritance. Max is new to town along with his sister Sam and they own the Tawnee Mountain...

Hey y'all!   My name is Ashley, from Book Junkie: Not-So-Anonymous.   I am THRILLED to have been chosen to be the advocate for my man Eric, from Faith Sullivan's Take Me Now series!!!   If you haven't read this series yet, you MUST! (P.S. The first book is FREE on Amazon, iBooks and Smashwords!)   For those of you who haven’t met this young man, well, he’s here, along with his girlfriend Ivy for a little interview! (Other than a few changes in tense, and a few added or removed words to make sense in this context, all the character’s answers are direct quotes from the series.) Me: So Eric, let’s just jump right into our interview.   The first thing I’d like to know is this: what made you decide to become the owner of a garden center? I mean, it seems like a lot of hard work with not a ton of pay… Eric: I’m living my dream so I can’t complain.   Well, maybe not everything is the way I’d like it to be, but I’m...
