Review: The Locked Door - Freida McFadden - June 2021 This book starts with us meeting Dr. Nora Davies drinking in a bar when she is watching Jeopardy on the bar TV and it asks who was known as the serial killer "The Handyman". The answer is Aaron Nierling - we then learn that Nora's father is Aaron and that when she was eleven years old, she discovered her father was killing females in their basement. Nora turned her dad into the police when she discovered the body of Mandy. Twenty-Six years later, Nora is busy working as a surgeon and living her life under her new identity. That is until one of her patients turns up dead in the same manner as her father killed. The thing is though, he is stuck in prison and that means there must be a copycat out there. What happens though when the evidence is pointing towards Nora being the killer and following in her father's footsteps yet she's innocent? Who is trying to set her up?
