Review: Pink Frost - Cameron Glenn - November 2011 I have to admit this book, I wasn't sure what to expect from the cover as it had been sitting for so long on my Kindle ( I've been reading my older books). The book starts off with an introduction to say that it was inspired by Hilary Duff and her movies and written as a possible movie novelization for her in mind. Throughout the book, you can tell that the character is a big fan of Hilary Duff's as the TV show Lizzie McGuire and her movie "The Lizzie McGuire Movie" are referenced. This brought back fond memories for me as I loved The Lizzie McGuire Movie and was a big fan of Hilary Duff and her movies and music. This book has an edge to it as the main character's mother died when she was younger, leaving her with an abusive father. She goes through life feeling depressed and wanting to die and end it all.
