Review: All Crash Down - Book #0.5 Sydney Evans Series - Leah Cupps - June 2021 This was a series where I have previously read Books #1 and 2 and then when I saw that he had a prequel, I was like why not as I did already know how this series ended. I was also in the mind for something quick to read and so All Crash Down was the perfect read for me. This book starts with Syndey Evans living her influencer life and being an Instagram model when she receives a phone call from her brother-in-law Ethan. Ethan has received notification that Jack's plane has crashed and there is no sign of the body or the wreckage. During the book, Sydney tries to find answers but is stonewalled as things don't make sense how could Jack who is an experienced pilot and prepared husband crash his plane and not use any of the life-saving equipment he pointed out and taught Sydney? The other thing that doesn't make sense to Sydney was there was a female on board with Jack who they also can't fin...

Review: Before She Dies - Book #0.5 Slaughter Creek Series - Rita Herron - October 2012 Looking for a quick thrilling read? One of my main goals for 2021 was to go through my e-books and clear old ones off the devices and during this time, I have found some good gems. Before She Dies is a prequel to the Slaughter Creek Series by Rita Herron, whom writes some great mysteries which I have enjoyed. The main series of Slaughter Creek is set 25 years later when the twins are 25 years old. In Before She Dies, we meet the twin’s parents as they move to a small town hoping for a peaceful life but when the wife delivers her twins, some strange things start happening as one twin is perfect but the other screams bloody murder. The mum is worried so she visits the doctor and soon notices around the clinic - a few kids with similar symptoms to her daughter. Stealing a look at her daughter's file, she is in for a shock as it seems someone is experimenting on the children of the town. Just as she...
