Review: Deserted - Book #4 Internet Fanous Collection - Tasha Lewis - September 2020 This is one series that I have been loving as I love anything that is normally based on a fairytale and Deserted had a couple of my favorite things. From Amnesia, Shipwrecked on a Deserted Island and loosely based on The Little Mermaid. When I was five, the Disney movie The Little Mermaid was released and I loved it so much that I named my cat Ariel and my fish Flounder. In Deserted we meet Easton who is part of a tv crew on a fishing expedition trip, a kind of reality show with his Uncle. However, lately, Easton and his fellow crew members are sick of this life and how the money has changed them all and ready to quit. The only person standing in their way is Easton's Uncle who raised him after his parents died when he was a young boy. On his latest expedition with one of the behind-the-scenes people, he goes to the rig to set up fireworks but something happens and goes wrong and soon Easton and t...

Shipwrecked, he’s stuck on an island with the one woman in the world who can’t stand him. DESERTED is a Little Mermaid retelling by Tasha Lewis that gives love a voice. Contemporary romance fans of the enemies to lovers trope will love this new taken on an old story. Part of the Internet Famous Collection, DESERTED is now LIVE!   Shipwrecked. Deserted on an island with no social media, no fans following me around, and no uncle breathing down my neck. I'd call it a vacation, if i weren't stuck with the one woman who can't stand me. And she doesn't talk, which makes me way too focused on her body, and not so much interested in the language. Despite the promise I made, I can't keep my hands off her. I want to get her out of my system, but when our lips touch, there's no stopping the connection between us. Every day we're alone together, I want her more, and I long to be less of the player I used to be. Until we get rescued, and the past weasels it'...

Review: Devoted - Book #7 Internet Famous Collection - Jade Royal - September 2020 Following the Internet Famous Collection, we move onto Jade Royal's story Devoted which is loosely based on The Legend of Hua Mulan or as we know it Mulan. I thought this was good timing as the new remake of Mulan also aired on Disney Plus this month. I wasn't 100% familiar myself with the story of Mulan but as I read it, it reminded me of Shakespeare's The Twelfth Night where Viola pretended to be her twin brother in order to take his place as she wanted it more. In Devoted, we read as Samirah aka Amir wants to help save her parents business after her father's new wife caused a scandal. The only way she can think of his winning the Internet King competition, the thing though is it for males only and her twin brother Liam has no interest. So Samirah talks her father into letting her go and with the help of her best friend Justine, Samirah will transform for the next nine months into Amir ...
