Review: Last One to Die - Cynthia Murphy - January 2021 Niamh pronounced Neve has just arrived in the UK for a change of scenery and a chance of a lifetime as she has been given a spot on an elite drama program for the summer season. Her life is about to get crazy and dangerous as girls around her are being murdered and the scary thing is that they look like her and they are ones she has befriended. One minute they are here and the next they are dead. Who is killing the young woman and will Niamh and her new friend Jess - the daughter of the local librarian be able to solve the crimes before either Niamh or Jess becomes the next victim? Last One to Die by Cynthia Murphy is not just your usual YA thriller as the book takes a twist back into the past where we learn about a serial killer named Spring Heeled Jack, a factory worker, and a wealthy female Jane who looks like the spitting image of Niamh. Review: Wait for Me - Sara Shepard - November 2022 You know how we all have those favourite authors, the ones that no matter what they write or publish we will be bound and compelled to read it? One of the ones on my list is Sara Shepard. Years before Pretty Little Liars was even a twinkle in the TV producer's mind, I read the first couple of books and I was hooked. It became one of my favourite YA book series and so in everything that followed by this author, I have made it my goal to read. Some I enjoy, and others are a bit odd but still, I do read them. Wait for Me was one of those reads in the middle where it had a great premise but at the same time was a bit off and odd in parts. The book starts with a woman about to get married and then she is kidnapped. Then it jumps over to the present time and we meet Casey who is dating a wealthy guy called Marcus Coleman. Casey is a young, smart teen but she feels off when it comes to Marcus and so she disappears to a town called Avon ...

Review: Cursed - Book #1 Born of the Blood Series - Skylar McKinzie - April 2018 This book had me at the fact it was witches and that it featured identical triplets. I had previously read her book Willow Woods and enjoyed it.  Cursed first introduces us to three sisters who have been betrayed by the ones they loved and burnt on the stake in Salem and accused of being witches, which of course they were, but they still didn't deserve to be treated this way. A curse was then put on the town and the people in it, Some turned into Vampires, and others wolves and the witches were reincarnated every 25 years, and a cycle would happen every time until a resolution was found . The other thing was the witches memory would be wiped every reincarnation, and they would have to come to everything on their own.  The witches this time are Stormy, Skye and Savannah Davidson and Halloween and their 25th birthdays are coming up, and strange things are happening in...
