Review: Isa and the Guy Next Door - Book #1 The Isa Diaries -  Jessica Soresen - September 2015 After my first read, today was a DNF, I decided to browse the kindle for something to read and came across this Jessica Sorensen book. It has been a long time since I read a Jessica Sorensen book and once I started reading this, I was hooked into the book and it reminded me of why I first fell in love with this author as I have loved everything by her that I had read so far. Isabella aka Isa is the odd one out in her family and they all seem to hate her with a passion. No matter what she does, she gets treated awful - like a Cinderella character. Isabella is being sent to hang out with her Grandmother Stephy - her Dad's mother over the summer. It should be a punishment but as her cousin, Indigo will be there as well, it gives her a break away and during this time she will discover a dark secret about herself.  Needing a good YA coming of age/thriller then get reading Isa...

Review: Inspiring You - Book #4 Unraveling You Series -Jessica Sorensen - July 2015 When nothing seems to work and click with you in the world of books, I find having a few authors sitting on your Kindle as these are the ones that you know you will have no problem getting into as everything they write is right up your alley and you are bound to enjoy them. For me, one of those authors is Jessica Sorensen. Inspiring You is Book #4 in the Unravelling Series and is the continuation of Ayden and Lyric's story. They are preparing with their band to go on tour, but of course, it's not all sunshine and roses as Ayden's sister Sadie is still missing and the cult is still sending their threats this time hitting closer to home by threatening Lyric. Ayden is the key to finding Sadie and the cult, but only if he can remember which leads him to take a risky therapy treatment - but will it cause more damage than helpfulness? We read the return of Sadie, but will she be open to coming ...

Review: Entangled - Book #2 Guardian Academy Series - Jessica Sorensen - May 2016 On this particular day of reading, I found myself in a reading slump as nothing I tried could catch my attention as everything just felt so blah. I find one of the authors that I can always count on when I find myself getting sucked into a reading slump is Jessica Sorensen. Entangled is Book #2 in her Guardian Academy series. In this series, we meet Alana whose grandfather has died and told her to hide a dagger. Higher authorities are after the dagger and Alana's grandfather has not only been accused of going rogue but also of murder. Alana doesn't believe her grandfather could have done this, but she's about to realize just how much can we trust those around us and especially those close to us. In this book, Alana finds herself marked with the Electi and then stumbles across a field of dead fae which leads her to watching the battle unfold through one of the deceased, and now only she know...

Review: The Art of Kissing - Jessica Sorensen

Review: The Art of Kissing - Book #2 The Art of Being Friends - Jessica Sorensen - July 2021 Why do I punish myself haha with Jessica Sorensen's books? I love her books as they are always great to read, edgy enough to keep you intrigued and they are good writing but the downside is that most of the series never actually finishes. It is like I have you hooked now, and I will end this book on a cliffhanger and I'll start writing the next book and then oops I got distracted by another series and story idea, so I am going to write that and come back this one but as the time goes on, hey I have forgotten about that series I was supposed to finish. Never mind, let us move on as that is the past. But hey, there are readers like myself who start the series and we never get the conclusions as we want to read them. I find Jessica Sorensen and Scarlett Haven another one they are authors that I would call "messy ones" as they start series and very rarely finish them. Like t...
