Review: Off the Hook - Book #3 Faking It Series - Chloe Walsh - December 2019 One of my authors that I have decided to make a goal this year and read her booklist is Chloe Walsh and with Off The Hook it brings me to the end of her Faking It Series. In Book #3 Addy is about to give everyone a shock as she has a secret, she is pregnant with Nathan. Her parents of course are furious and give her the ultimatum to leave Nathan or walk out the door and be cut off. Of course, Addy loves Nathan and will always choose him over her crazy family as at least she knows he loves her unconditionally as well. During the book, her father has a change of heart and gives Nathan and Addy an ultimatum of his own - either Nathan is to Marry Addy and raise the baby or Addy will be sent to St Bernadette's. Of course, Nathan will do what is right for Addy and marry her. Review: Forgive Me - Ashley Beale - March 2014 Now and again, I get the urge to clean off some of my older books that have been sitting on my kindle for years, and often they are either DNFs and misses or they turn out to be diamonds in the rough. Forgive Me by Ashley Beale was one of those good reads and it reminded me of My Forever Girl by Heidi McLaughlin as it had a similar feel to it and it also felt like the earlier New Adult Romances which I loved. This book starts Ten years prior and we meet 14-year-old Lexi who is in love with her boyfriend Zander. All is going well until Lexi's mum discovers she is pregnant and in the middle of the night - she is shipped off to her grandmother's house. Review: Angel's Choice - Lauren Baratz-Logsted - December 2006 As a mood reader, often I will know that I want to read but I don't know what I want to read and it can be a hard decision. Often, in this case, I just scroll through until a title or author jumps out at me and I am like - ok, I will read this one. In Angel's Choice, again despite it being an older YA book - it is quite relevant to the current situation going on about the abortion bill, etc. Angel's choice introduces us to teen Angel who on a bit of a revenge hook-up at a party ended up with a guy named Tim O'Mara, he isn't the guy she would have normally hooked up but she was angry and jealous at Danny - the one she loves. Angel ends up having her first time with Tim, not that she can remember it as she was drunk and it wasn't very memorable. At the end of the night, Tim gives her his number and says "call me if you get pregnant". Two months later, Angel makes that phone call and we ...
