Walk the Line Natalie Parker, Paula Dombrowiak (Blood & Bone Legacy, #1) Publication date: April 22nd 2025 Genres: Contemporary, New Adult, Romance It was supposed to be simple: Film the tour. Build my portfolio. And for Heavens sake, keep it in my pants. Then I met Felix Krasinski. The captivating and infuriatingly cocky frontman of Velvet Drift commands attention everywhere he goes—including mine. Am I proud of it? No. I’m supposed to be filming their perfromance, not fantasizing about his perfect abs. I’m determined to be taken seriously, and hooking up with the ridiculously hot rockstar is the fastest way to tank my credibility. Felix is always in control, and I’m an impulsive rule-breaker. We don’t make sense. But we can’t seem to stay away from each other. Because, between his uptight habits and annoyingly perfect jawline, there’s more to Felix than his stage presence and legendary last name. He’s protective, vulnerable, and gets me in a way no one else does. B...

Review: The Infatuation Calculation - Book #6 Chemistry Lessons - Susannah Nix - May 2021 One of my favorite things to read is STEM romance or what I prefer to call it is Geek Chic Lit, where the main characters are a little quirky and have an academic background. Mia studied pure mathematics at University and now has finished her degree, of course, though jobs are scarce and you have like 300+ people going for one position. A bit like the job market these days as I went for an interview recently and they had 300 people apply and interviewed their top 6 candidates I have heard from people who have been looking everywhere for jobs and finding it difficult. Mia decides to look outside of the city and comes across a teaching one-year contract for Maths at Bowman University in Crowder, Texas.  She applies and gets the job and moves down from LA to the small town. It is not where she wants to be and is grateful it's only for a year. That is until she meets her landlord Birdie and her ...

The book starts with Mac and Elise being evicted from their home as the landlord wants to use it as a holiday home as he can get $200 a night with it. Elise heads back home to her parents, but Mac, she has no one and couch surfs for a while until she finds herself with no other option than to sleep in her car.  Driving around, Mac comes across Barren Cape which is out in South Adelaide. It was to be a luxury hotel but of course, when COVID hit, the money dried up and now the luxury hotel is just a concrete shell with a few rooms. Mac breaks in and sets up camp in one of the rooms, she isn't the only one here though as we have also in other areas - an escaped convict and a sixteen-year-old girl Brex. Each just looking for a place to lay their head away from the world. The book splits int...
