Review: The Snow Globe - Sheila Roberts
Review: The Snow Globe - Sheila Roberts - October 2010
Kylie Gray has not had the best of times lately , as her boyfriend Jeremy dumped her on Halloween and that's just the tip of the iceberg as the girl he dumped her for is none other than Kylie's younger sister Gwinnie who is the blonde hair, blue eyes, barbie doll type. Life would be so much easier if she didn't have to face the both of them, but heading home for Thanksgiving dinner means that they will both be there and Kylie is determined not to let the pair of them ruin this holiday for her too. While out on a girl's weekend, Kylie stumbles into an Antiques shop and spots a snow globe. Turns out that the snow globe holds magical properties and helps the owner find their heart's desires. The owner of the store tells Kylie about the legend of the original owner and she buys the snow globe. All is calm and right in the world, until one morning Kylie shakes the snow globe and it's changed - now is a toyshop - so Kylie and her best friend Allison ,hunt down the toy shop and meet Craig - the owner. Has the Snow Globe lead Kylie to Craig ? Is he to turn out to be her Christmas Miracle ? A Mr Right ?
The Snow Globe is the perfect contemporary romance read with a hint of Christmas Magic in the air which in turn completes this book into falling into the category of a "Curl Up in a Chair and Fall in Love" book.
