If you are looking for a new unrequited New Adult romance to read, then Too Many Reasons is the book for you. It starts off with of course two longtime best friends Devon and Abby. Devon is the Rock Star and the guy who sleeps around and has countless girlfriends, he is also the guy who knows that if he is ever in trouble - he can always rely on Abby. Abby is the best friend, she has since she could remember had a crush on Devon. She believes that one day, he will realise that she has been there all along and will dump his girlfriends and groupies and she will be his "one". Her sister Mallory calls her delusional. Enter a record deal , the catch though is that the band must open a spot for Eli Jamieson - he won the Spotlight competiton in Book #1. The band gets off to a rocky start, but soon things start to settle but what will happen though when Eli starts to take a romantic interest in Abby and soon tension starts to build up between Devon and Eli. Why though , as Abby knows Devon isn't interested in her romantically - or is he ? Is this the step needed for Devon to wise up and realise what has been in front of him all this time or has Abby reached the end of her Too Many Reasons and Excuses for why Devon doesn't want her and decided that now is the time for her to be happy and choose Eli ?

Who will Abby choose and which guy will she end up with ? Reading this book did make me wonder though, how many times we have made excuses and reasons on why our best guy friend, the crush won't date us. I know it's crossed my mind before when I was younger but sadly my childhood crush and best friend committed suicide when were 18.
