Review: Space - Book #2 Laws of Physics Series - Penny Reid - March 2019
Space starts up two years after Book #1 Motion has finished, Mona and Lisa switched places back and went on with their lives. The thing is though that this experience had changed both of them. For Lisa, she realized her life of bad boys and drugs wasn't what she wanted - she wanted to reconnect with her twin sister. For Mona, this experience left her heartbroken as she had fallen head over heels in love for the first time with Abram. She still has feelings for him and decided to get it all out on paper, and for the next two years, she had held that letter in her pocket-too afraid to post it. Now two years later, Mona and her best friend are headed for a week away in Aspen. Mona arrives, but turns out she's not alone as her brother Leo has decided to use the cabin for him and his music buddies which include Abram and for those who were wondering how the first Hypothesis series and this one connected Abram's best friend is Kaitlyn. Having the two back in the same space will prove difficult for Mona and Abram as it's obvious they still have strong feelings for one another. I have to admit after reading this book; I wanted to throttle Mona's brother Leo as seriously WTF he doesn't even know her. A) she's not asexual and B) who do you think you are telling her to stay away from Abram because you don't want to lose him as a friend - you care more about yourself than your sister. What are you like five ?? I have to admit I didn't enjoy Space as much as the first book but was still a good read and great to see Kaitlyn and Martin again.
