Review: Play With Me - Kristen Proby

Review: Play With Me - Book #3 With Me in Seattle Series - Kristen Proby - February 2013
I had recently been stuck in a bit of a reading slump as everything I had tried wasn't getting me interested, so in moments like this, I have certain authors I know that I will enjoy and that I have plenty of their books to get around to reading. Kristen Proby is one of those authors as I love all her characters and her stories especially the ones set in Seattle have this genuineness about the characters that means that you just connect with them in one way or another. I loved the main female lead in this book Megan aka Meg as she is a chief nurse at the local hospital and you can tell she cares so much about her kids and doesn't see her patients as statistics and money. For the past two years, she has been trying to get local football stars to come and visit the kids at the hospital and one of those stars is Will Montgomery and for the past two years, she gets rejection after rejection from their PR agent. Recently Meg has reconnected with her college friends Natalie and Jules - remember Natalie was the one who married Luke and in this book we read more of Jules's wedding to Nate. It turns out that Jules's brother is none other than Will Montgomery. Of course, Will tries to sweet-talk Meg, but she isn't having a bar of it as for her he rejected the kids. One thing leads to another and Will tries to woo Meg and that includes visiting the hospital with no media coverage. What will happen though when Will and Meg get close and her first love Leo Nash - now a big-time music star comes back into the picture? Can Meg open her heart to Will or is she afraid he will love and leave her, as everyone else did including Leo and her mother Sylvia? Find out in this sweet romance Play with Me by Kristen Proby - Book #3 in the With Me in Seattle Series.
