Review: After the Rain - Jo Watson

Review: After the Rain - Book #4 Destination Love - Jo Watson - August 2014
Scrolling through my kindle,
I came across After the Rain by Jo Watson, a book I had sitting on the kindle
for a wee while. This book I had mixed feelings about as I absolutely loved the
character Stormy-Rain in parts and then other parts it was like seriously,
enough already. After the Rain starts with Stormy-Rain's best friend calling
her to tell her she is getting married. The kicker though is it is in Prague,
which means Stormy-Rain must fly and she has a strong fear of flying.
Stormy-Rain though won't be alone on the flight as her friend's fiancé’s friend
Marcus is also flying on the same flight. Stormy-Rain and Marcus are complete
opposites in the fact that Stormy-Rain's whole attitude is free-spirited and
quirk rolled into one, she embodies her name. Marcus on the other hand is a strait-laced
boring lawyer who loves structure and rules. Stormy-Rain is the type to color
out of the lines and Marcus, making sure he is coloring in the lines. I loved
Stormy-Rain's personality as in ways from her making up words to her hair colours,
it reminded me of myself. Now the part I started to hate and it grated on me as
I continued to read this book was the OTT amount of sex. These two who seem to
hate each other, just can't keep their hands off each other. It's like freaking
hell, make up your mind. When several misfortunate accidents happen on their
way to the wedding, it will give this pair more time to bump uglies and prove
that fate works in mysterious ways and that maybe, they aren't that different
after all. By the time they make Prague, will there be more wedding bells
in the future?
Find out in After the Rain by Jo Watson - Book #4 in the Destination Love
series.
