Review: Made to Last - Melissa Tagg
Review: Made to Last - Melissa Tagg - September 2013
Have you ever picked up a book to start reading and then by the end of it , thought well -this is way better than I thought it would be. To me, that was Melissa Tagg's book "Made To Last" and it has now made me wanting to read her other stories. Made to Last brings your DIY reality television to life with a Christian perspective and also the elements of social media. Miranda Woodruff aka Randi for the last three seasons has been the host of a DIY TV show called "From the Ground Up". The ratings are getting low though and this season the producers want to spice things up by bringing the husband Miranda always talks about onto the show. The thing is Miranda isn't married and the guy who was to be her husband left her the night before their wedding three years ago. Enter Blake aka Blaze - a dead ringer for her ex-fiance Robbie , he pretends with Miranda to be married for the show's sake. If playing house wasn't hard enough for Miranda, it is just the tip of the Iceberg as this season also tagging along is newspaper reporter Matthew who in a act to redeem himself he has reluctantly agreed to write a serial blog on Miranda Woodruff - The Woman behind the show. What happens when sparks fly between Matthew and Miranda , especially when she is fake-married ? Is Matthew and Miranda's attraction for each other doomed to fail or will it turn out to be "Made to Last" the distance ?
Find out in this awesome new debut novel by Melissa Tagg.
