Review: A Hurt So Sweet - #Volume 4 - Elites of Eden Falls Prep - Betti Rosewood/Isabella Starling - January 2020 Lai is dead and Dexter is accused of murdering his best friend in Eden Falls, meanwhile on a train headed to North Haven is Pandora and her new friend Alli.  Pandora has just discovered she is pregnant with one of the firstborns’ children and on a train to meet her birth mother for the first time. For those who have read the previous series, I keep thinking that is Pandora that stupid like Hello, she was living in Lily-Anna's shadow - shouldn't she have freaking recognized her, and then wouldn't it have been another clue when they rock up to her mum's and the first thing her mother does is hug Lily-Anna calling her - her daughter which of course she has seen her grow up as Emilian sent her photos, etc. When Pandora does meet her mum, we can see her mother is content living in a crazy world as Emilian is paying for it and she has everything she wants. We le...

Review: A Hurt So Sweet - #Volume 3 - Betti Rosewood/ Isabella Starling - July 2020 First, off I have added the name Betti Rosewood to the review as that was the name initially that Isabella Starling was using to write this series but I noticed she has gone back to her name on the cover of Volume #3.  Volume #3 picks up where Volume #2 ended with Lai calling Dexter as Pandora is a mess. She trusted Easton Brantley and look where it got her, she ended up having sex with the other boys Caspian, Justin, and Lai, and treated like dirt or as they use this term in the book a lot "toy" whose use is to be used and then discarded like yesterday's trash. When Emilian finds out she is ruined now by not just one but all five of the founding family sons, this is his last straw and he strips her of her firstborn rights and now Brazen has inherited the rights of Firstborn and Tianna - second born so this has reduced Pandora - to absolute nothing ( which puts her even lower than maids...

Review: A Hurt So Sweet - Volume #2  Elite of Eden Falls Prep Series - Betti Rosewood - October 2019 One of the darkest bullymances I have read would have to be the series A Hurt So Sweet by Betti Rosewood. I was in the mood last night to read something but wasn't sure what I wanted to read. I remember scrolling through and this series popped into my head. Just like the first volume, this book was just as crazy as we are reunited with Pandora who is trying to find herself in this crazy world where she is like currency - worth something but not. Volume #2 has the introduction to Easton Brantley who seems like Pandora's savior from Dexter Booth but she is about to realize that maybe she has chosen the worst of the two evils. Can Dexter save her or has Pandora realized it is too late to save herself? In Volume #2 we get a surprise as we learn more about Lily-Anne Oakes and the events surrounding her death that are touched on in the first book. We also learn more about Dexter...
