  Review: Ascenders - Book #1 High School For the Recently Departed - CL Gaber - April 2015 Walker Hayes woke up in a new place with no idea how they got there or why her mum was moving her to a new part of the world which she assumes is Minnesota during her senior year of high school especially since she is the editor of her school's newspaper. Turns out that Walker Hayes aged 17 has passed over to the other side into a new dimension. This part was similiar to the Kate Brian series The Shadowlands as those who have passed over and whom yet haven't reached their full potential are sent to a limbo sort of place called Ascenders which houses two main buildings and a small community.     Review: Inbetween - Book #1 Kissed by Death Series - Tara Fuller - August 2012 It's not very often that we find books told by the male POV's and if you were to judge this one by the cover , you wouldn't think that it was told entirely via the male and you would think that the female was more important. However, in Book #1 of the Kissed by Death series , the main character is a guy named Finn who will forever be around 17-19yrs as he is now serving a lifetime in limbo as a reaper for Balthazar. Due to the fact that he died years ago and broke the rules by bringing a human Alison through the portal with him , when she should have lived. His selfish actions have caused him to live in limbo , he has spent his life searching for Alison and he finds her though her name is now Emma and she has been involved in a car accident. Again , Emma should have died but Finn intervened and she survived. Now the Gods aren't happy and there is a Death angel named Ma...

  Review: Falling Away - Book #2 Falling Series -Devon Ashley- February 2013 Jenna has just completed her first two years of Community College and living happily with her boyfriend Robert and best friend Sophie and her fiance Jhett. This novel starts off with Sophie and Jhett planning their wedding and the thought of Jenna and Robert being next pops up. Jenna however isn't ready for it and it will start to develop into a major part of Falling Away as during a flower shop visit where Sophie and Jenna have gone to look at arrangements for the wedding, Evan pops up. At first I thought Evan was a ghost and in some way he is as he is in limbo. We learn that Evan has suffered a head trauma and is in hospital.
