I thought why not read a Christmas Winter Break royalty romance.  This happens to also be another one of my favorite tropes of an ordinary - not super stunning commoner having a member of the Royal family fall in love with them and bonus points if the commoner is loved by the rest of the Royal family and is a genuinely nice person. Royal Date by Sariah Wilson starts with Kat and her best friend Lemon on holiday in Monterra as Lemon's parents shouted them a skiing trip before they present their thesis for their Masters. While waiting for Lemon, Kat is busy reading and is hit on by Nico. She is not interested in a romance and not a holiday fling. The story then jumps to Lemon and Kat skiing and an accident occurs with Kat. Three days later Kat wakes up and...
