Jane Blythe's book is not one for the faint-hearted, and if you are looking for a cozy mystery, then this isn't for you. The murders in this book are quite horrific and graphical. In this book, it's a race against the time as Detective Romeo Xavier Montague is falling for Annabelle and if he's not careful, then he may lose her to the killer as she was a prize for him.
