When I saw that she had written about Nessa Ainsley who is now the chief of Willow Bay PD, I immediately wanted to read it as I have just finished to date the Veronica Lee Series and I had fallen in love with all the characters and wasn't ready to say goodbye. This series is Nessa before she even arrived in Willow Bay and she has just made Detective with Rosewood PD and on her first day, she is taken to a murder of a college girl. It turns out later that Rosewood has had a peeping tom but he hasn't until now reached the level of murder. With no evidence, Nessa and her new partner are going to have to take it to the streets.
