Review: The Charmer - Book #3 Biotech Billionaires Series - Ava Rani - May 2025 Ava Rani wraps up her Biotech Billionaires trilogy with a deliciously addictive finale in The Charmer , a sizzling slow-burn romance that blends fake marriage, billionaire charm, and corporate drama into a story that’s equal parts heart and heat. Penelope Chen-Astor has worked hard to escape the gilded cage of her privileged upbringing in Singapore. Now a fiercely independent lawyer in Manhattan, she’s built a life on her own terms until her grandfather’s will throws a wrench into her hard-won freedom. To protect not only her own future but her mother’s financial security, she must marry and remain so for a year. Review: Hot Shot - Book # Roseville Ramblers - Staci Hart - April 2025 As a long-time fan of Staci Hart—ever since her debut Good Gods series—I couldn’t wait to dive into Hot Shot, the second installment in the Roseville Ramblers series. Let me tell you, this book delivered. Overflowing with second-chance romance, small-town charm, and sizzling chemistry, Hot Shot gave me major Sweet Home Alabama vibes, and I was here for every second. We meet our heroine when she returns to Roseville, ready to marry another man… only to find out she’s already married. To Wilder. Her hot, firefighter ex-boyfriend. From ten years ago. In Vegas. For one night. Turns out he never sent the annulment papers—and never told her. Cue all the drama. What follows is a deliciously addictive marriage-of-convenience story, as Wilder asks her to play the part of his loving wife for the sake of appearances. It’s only pretend, right? Hand-holding, the occasional kiss, maybe even some smoldering glances? But as past...

Review: Save Your Breath - Book #4 Kings of Ice Series - Kandi Steiner - March 2025 THIS JUST IN: HOCKEY BAD BOY AND POP STAR EXTRAORDINAIRE ENGAGED!  Kandi Steiner delivers a swoon-worthy slow burn in Save Your Breath, the fourth standalone in her addictive Kings of the Ice series. Packed with emotion, longing, and perfectly layered tension, this friends-to-lovers romance checks every box for readers who love their fake relationships with a hefty dose of real feelings. Aleksander Suter, NHL’s resident bad boy, has always been the one person who could fluster pop star Mia Love—and now they’re in a pretend engagement that feels a little too believable. What starts as a PR stunt quickly spirals into something deeper, as childhood memories and long-held feelings surface in the midst of fame, pressure, and a hurricane-induced forced proximity. Their chemistry is palpable, and every shared moment—whether a quiet confession or a heated glance—carries the weight of years of unspoken lo...

Review: Overexposed - Tate James and Heather Long - January 2025 After a DNF this morning, I knew I needed an author where I would love the book and I have found anything written with Tate James or that she is involved in, they have been titles that I have enjoyed as she has a way where you just come to love all the characters. You also know that it will become a RH story. This book starts with us meeting Stella who has taken over from her father as a paparazzi after he was injured to help with his medical bills as well as life in general. One night she heads to a bar to get some shots and ends up meeting Gemini Harrison and she has an amazing night of passion with him. Unfortunately, their encounter ended up splashed across the tabloids and it was under the assumption that it was Gem's twin brother Seven who is currently a big Hollywood Heartthrob. Stella shrugs things off as this is her life and it's not like she will ever see him again or so she believes. While out at a par...

When she gets to the school, she has a panic attack and ends up kissing the first handsome guy she sees aka Ethan who later turns out to be her Economics of Crime Professor. She then finds herself befriended by a few of the most popular guys in school. One thing leads to another and Eve and the four most popular guys in the school Haze, Drew, Connor, and Brodie end up being put in the same dorm along with Ethan - their teacher in charge. We later learn that Andrew is being blackmai...

Review: The Problem with Falling - Brittainy Cherry

Review: The Problem With Falling - Book #3 Problems Series - Brittainy Cherry - January 2025 One of my favorite authors is Brittainy Cherry, I just love her romances as they have tragedy, trauma, and a bit of grit to them but at the same time, they have true love, happiness, and good feelings. This has to be my favorite book of the first three, which was Willow's story. Willow has always been on the run and escaping her hometown as she is known as either the girl whose mum died giving birth to her or the girl who was in an accident that resulted in two deaths and her best friend Anna paralyzed whereas Willow walked away without a scratch. When she is invited to one of her crafting friend's wedding anniversary party and offered a place to stay, she jumps at the chance and lands in a small town called Westin Lake and rooming with Theo - her friend Molly's grandson. Theo was raised by his grandparents, hates people, and has a stutter when he gets nervous. He and Willow could...
