Review: It Was All The Pie's Fault - Elizabeth SaFleur - February 2022 I was in two minds about this book as I loved the whole idea of a magical pie that grants your wishes as I love the idea of food being the magic of life and giving a positive spin and quirky outlook on everyday moments and I did love the male lead Nick - his character to me was perfect and from the first meeting, I felt he was the "good guy" and was cheering him on right through the story. Now the main female character was a whole different story, JFC I wanted to shake her and tell her to wake up and smell the coffee and taste her pie. She was so obsessed with Russell that she didn't see that she had a good guy and a nicest in front of her all the time. She felt too naive for me and HELLO, if a guy is going to Paris with another woman and flirting with her -then obviously they have something going on and you have no chance.
