Review: They All Had a Reckoning - Book #7 They All Had a Reason Series - Michele Leathers - November 2023 This is one series that I have been reading and was very excited to read Book #7 as it looked like Bellamy's past was closing in on her in this book she and Victoria head to Mexico where Cory and his sister Tasha have been living. Cory is the one with the true-crime podcast and with whom Bellamy has some romantic feelings despite how cold and heartless she acts. In this book, we learn that Cory has invited some people from Bellamy's hometown to visit including Gemma, Charlotte, Wade, and Bridger. I was all excited to see how Bridger would react with the reunion being it's his sister but he ends up pulling out of the trip. Charlotte was the one initially that Bellamy had tried to set up for her fake murder but of course, it backfired. In this book, we see the characters ending up drugged and on a boat and the book is an Escape room style read where everyone's deep...

Review: They All Had a Grudge - Book #6 They All Had Series - Michele Leathers - November 2022 This series, I discovered last year and read the first five books and waited patiently for Book #6 now that I have as I had assumed it would be the end of the series and Bellamy would get what's coming to her, we now have more to come as this one as the others ended on a cliffhanger ending. I have to admit unlike the others this one didn't feel like a Bellamy story rather than the side character Layla, who takes over, and then some of the other cast did as well. I was confused at first as I was like where's Bellamy and her new identity we were first presented with a group of friends Layla, Lane, William, Kye, and Dottie. Turns out their friend Paxton has been missing and Lane has been charged with her murder, but there is no body. Bellamy then turns up as PJ and looks identical to Paxton, her mark in this book is Lane and to get him off the murder charges. Unlike the others, this...

Review: They All Had a Plan - Michele Leathers

Review: They All Had a Plan - Book #5 - Michele Leathers - May 2022 The 5th book in this series and we have an OMFG moment as we wonder if this is finally the last time Bellamy will evade the officials and be free. Like the previous books in this series, Bellamy has changed her name and adopted a new identity and a new career to make some money before she moves on again. What she doesn't realize though is that her past could catch up with her as Corey is the closest, he has ever been to capturing her and there's also a PI on her tail, who wants her to pay for what she did in Book #3. In Book #5 Bellamy becomes a nanny by the name of Mariana for a family who she knows won the jackpot at the casino. What happens though is that the family is on the verge of divorce as the dad Ned has run off with the old nanny Lacey. Now Bellamy has to change her plan to get her money. To pull off this con successfully, she will need a helper and that's where Corey comes into play. He was h...

Review: They All Had a Chance - Michele Leathers

Review: They All Had a Chance - Book #4 They All Had A Reason Series - Michele Leathers - November 2021 I have to admit I was a little disappointed at the angle that this one took as it felt more like a different series rather than the main focus being once again on Bellamy who we all know is a fugitive on the run who has killed multiple people and conned others. In Book #4 Bellamy is now Athena and is headed to Camp Sunshine to become a counselor and also blackmail the camp owner as she knows there is more to the story than the owner's husband just vanishing. When Bellamy arrives, she meets the other counselors including Jane Flowers who is a plain jane girl with no confidence and no skills. To be honest, she was quite a pathetic character and if it hadn't been for her connection to the disappearance of Shandy's husband Barkley then she wouldn't be important. I have to admit this wasn't a favorite in the series as Bellamy left without money and she was also accuse...

Review: They All Had A Fear - Book #3 They All Had a Secret Series - Michele Leathers - April 2021 In Book #1 we saw Bellamy fake her murder and disappear along with Quentin, in Book #2 Bellamy had changed her name to Charity and then killed Quentin and now in Book #3, Bellamy has changed her name again, this time to Tamara. Our book starts with Winter and her mother heading to a small town where they have inherited Winter's aunt Emma's house as she has now passed away in an accident. Upon their arrival, they discover a dead body on the beach. Winter is told it was a shark attack but something isn't adding up for her and even more so when more females wash up dead. Has the small town got a serial killer? Along with Winter's story, we read the story of Milton Thorne, a guy who acts blind and when the woman disappoints him, he goes for the kill. I have to admit, I did not see the killer coming - I thought I did but wow, this one blew me out of the water. At the end of t...
