Review: Someone to Kiss My Scars - Brooke Skipstone - October 2019 Needing a book to read before bed, I was scrolling and clicked on this book. I was going in blind as I didn't know what this one was about or could remember. I had previously read one of this author's books before that was a little odd, so had expected maybe something similar. The book starts with Hunter who can't seem to remember anything from his past, but lately, he has been having strong visions of people's stories and they all feature around sex whether it be a shame, abuse, or romance. Review: 20 Minutes Later - Book #2 20 Minutes Series - Daniel Hurst - April 2020 Set 20 minutes later after Book one 20 minutes on the Tube, we have a mixture of some of the characters from the first book and a few new ones- some we glimpsed in the first book, but didn't go into details about their stories. We have Jelena and Bodgan, Jelena has finally been rescued away from her captors and Bodgan is reunited with the girl who he loved at school, and saving her has reignited his spirits. We meet Jelena's captors, one who ends up being murdered while the other set off a bomb and kills their elderly neighbor. The explosion is one of the main storylines for this book which introduced us to several new characters from the 999 operators to a few neighbors and then the ticket holders from the UK to France line. Remember Harry who was off to visit his dad for the first time and sadly his dad jumped in front of the Tube in Book #1. This book also has the meeting that would have ruin...

Review : #Seen - Book #1 NorthStar - Freedom Series - Taylor Hart - August 2019 Lately, I've been finding books hard to get into as my mind has just been distracted and I have been finding things so blah and needing books with a bit of a kick. #Seen gives us that as it is the first book in a series called NorthStar. North Star as we learn is an organization that helps save children/teens from bad situations. The book starts with Zoey who found herself in a bad situation as she ends up kidnapped and sold to a pimp. Zoey ends up being one of the lucky ones rescued and returned to her family. The guy who brought Zoey home, Cyrus aims to save children from that exact situation that Zoey was in. We learn his daughter Marcella was kidnapped and we assume sold into human trafficking.  In #Seen we jump over to the local high school where we meet Sammy. Sammy had it all, a great boyfriend, friends and on her way to becoming cheer captain - that is until in a blink of an eye it is gone. Feel...
