Review: The Good Girls - Claire Elizabeth Bartlett - December 2020 The cover of this book and the tagline got me and so when I began to read it, it started well as it starts with a supposed dead girl aka Emma. She was pushed off the bridge at a popular spot where two years earlier another girl died aka Lizzy. The prime suspect, in this case, is a bit of a cliche but they look at Claude Vanderley who is known as the residential troublemaker. As the book gets on they also interview Avery Cross who is the Captain of the cheerleading squad and Emma's friend and Gwen- who is Lizzy's younger sister and Emma's competitor for the scholarship prize. As the book goes along, we can tell this is a case of the Breakfast Club meets One of Us is Lying with an all-female cast. Who killed Emma or is there a bigger story at play when another dead body and a strange blog turns up with clues that could lead to Emma's disappearance without a body - it can't be murder right?
