MISS FIX IT by Emma Hart - Release Blitz

Image
One handywoman. One single dad. One set of twins. And the wall isn’t the only thing being drilled… I learned the hard way that being a handywoman isn’t easy. The questions, the stares—the assumption I’m the proud owner of a cock and balls. Not that it matters. I’ve proven over and over that I’m ready for anything the judgmental asses throw at me. Except the hot, single dad of twins who just moved to town. Brantley Cooper gets the shock of his life when I show up on his doorstep to fix up his kids’ new rooms. His son is confused why ‘the pretty lady has a drill,’ and his daughter has a new obsession—me. On paper, my job is easy. Go in, do their bedrooms, and leave. In theory, I’m spending eight hours a day with a guarded, sexy as hell guy, and I’m staying for dinner more often than I’m eating it alone, on my couch, with Friends re-runs. I shouldn’t be staying for dinner. I shouldn’t be helping him out with the twins. I shouldn’t be falling in love with ti

Review: The Dollhouse - Nicole Thorn

Review: The Dollhouse - Book #1 Paper Dolls - Nicole Thorn - September 2016 I had been looking forward to reading this book, after all, I do like my Dark Fiction stories, and The Dollhouse sounded quite promising. Four girls were taken seven years ago when they were all twelve years old and held captive. Now seven years later they have escaped their captors and are free. The four girls Layla, Riley, Kylie, and Adalyn, return to their families and learn how to cope in the real world as adults. The transition to the real world and back to reality is hard, and they have difficulty adapting to their new lives and their instant fame as The girls who escaped the Dollhouse. The story is written from Riley's POV as she was the mastermind behind their escape and the "strong one." I have to admit this story however frustrated me, and I felt let down as her parents treat her like this fragile butterfly and a little girl, and I get that she was kid

Review: The Offer - LL Frost

Review: The Offer - Episode #1 Succubus Bargain - L.L Frost - June 2017 I have to admit; I wasn't too sure what this serial episode would be like . I only clicked it as A) the cover looked pretty cool and B) it said that it was a reverse harem story. The serial episode starts out with introducing us to Adeline aka Addie Pond who is a succubus who hates feeding off people and killing innocents. She is the type of succubus who would prefer to pay for her meal and feed only when necessary . While out to meet her meal, she comes across another demon who takes her and has wild passionate demon sex. She realizes her mistake and rushes out. The book then jumps to Addie cooking and whipping up a storm as her dream is to open a cupcake bakery like a human and she has a bank meeting to attend. To build up her courage, she goes out dancing to feed off the energy and finds herself in trouble, and again a new demon saves her.  The final part of the first episode

Review: Expelled - James Patterson and Emily Raymond

Review: Expelled - James Patterson and Emily Raymond - October 2017 Remember when I was saying how the new theme in teen books seems to be The Breakfast Club with a mystery twist. Expelled by James Patterson and Emily Raymond is another book on that theme. In the case of Expelled though, they are at the Do not pass Go, Do not collect $200 but instead of going straight to detention they have been expelled.  Will Foster had a secret twitter account where he exposed the school student's secrets - he was his school's version of Gossip Girl. Except when a photo is posted to his account, the person hasn't covered their tracks and has set up Will Foster and the people in the photo - Jude who is the school's mascot and Will's best friend and Parker - the school quarterback. There is also was a fourth person expelled Sasha. Will can't believe how unfair this is and without school and his final grades, there goes his chance of entering college. Af
