Review: The Mystery Guest - Book #2 Molly The Maid - Nita Prose - November 2023 Every now and again, I feel like a cozier mystery read and Nita Prose's Molly The Maid series provided not only that but also a sense of belonging as her main character Molly is on the spectrum and is a neurodivergent character, so some of her traits and personality quirks, I understood on a bit more of a personal level as I come from a family where my mum and two siblings were on the spectrum, my partner is between borderline to strong possibility and myself shows mild tendencies to borderline. In The Mystery Guest,  Molly has been promoted to Head Maid and is training Lily who is quiet and reminds Molly of herself. The hotel is getting prepared to host the author  JD Grimthorpe as he has a big announcement to make. Just as he gets ready to read his cue cards, he drops dead on the stage. It seems the hotel has another murder and poor Molly and the maids find themselves the prime suspects once aga...

Review: If Only You - Book #6 Bergman Brother/Sisters Novel - Chloe Liese - April 2023 If there is one author who I always find represents the disability sector in such an amazing light, it is Chloe Liese. This author does an amazing job as she often writes one of her characters with a disability or illness and you just can't help but fall for that character and feel what they are going through. As someone who grew up in a family where Autism is a genetic trait as my mum had it, my grandad had it and now my two siblings have it as well as my two nephews. I have never been diagnosed but growing up with it being quite a strong link, I definitely can say that I have a few minor traits of being one of the neurodivergent. I have found it awkward to make friends and connect with people which is why I have lots of acquaintances but very few close friends. I also can't handle loud noises and I am not a driver myself as I feel overwhelmed and get very anxious with everything happening...

Review: Banana Cream Baron - Book #3 Sugar and Spice Series - Rosie Chase - July 2020 If you are looking for a sweet romance series and love baking and reality TV then this series is super-cute and for you. In Sugar and Spice, we first met The Cake King who for his sister who is getting married decided to pick nine bakers and have a competition to see who would make the cake for his sister's wedding. In Book #3 we meet contestant Maya who I loved her character as she may be great at baking but she doesn't love it, her passion is writing romance books. She also is on the spectrum and loves spouting off random facts and has a comfort toy sheep in her pocket called Daisy. She would have to be one of my favorite characters in this series as I could relate to some of her quirks. During the competition, she meets Mechanic Cole who is Hawaiian and though he is a mechanic, his dream is Diving and being in the water. He also has a brother on the spectrum and even better for Maya, he is ...
