Review: Irresistibly Yours - Book #1 Oxford Magazine Series - Lauren Layne - October 2015 I read one of the books in this series a wee while ago and loved it and when I was scrolling and tidying up my kindle, I came across this one. Lately, I have struggled with romance reads as just found them blah and not grabbing me. However, the thing with this series was it was so easy to read and the characters were all likable and I got such a good strong friendship to feel with this book, and even the guy who should have been fighting for his job was genuinely nice and cared for his opponent as he knew she should be given a fair chance as they were both as good as each other. She was his perfect match. Take a step back and we meet Cole Sharpe, who has been a freelance writer for the sports section of Oxford Magazine. The magazine has decided to take the Sports section and grow it. Cole should have been a shoo-in but Alex Cassidy has other plans to enter Penelope Pope who has just moved to Ne...

Review: Confess - Colleen Hoover - March 2015 If you ever want an angsty story and one with a love triangle, then I find Colleen Hoover's books always good to read. This is one I have had to be honest since it was released and the other day I was really in the mood for an angsty novel. Confess starts with the main character Auburn falling in love with Adam and then tragedy strikes. The novel then jumps about four-five years in the future and Auburn is back in Dallas. She hates her job and then comes across a gallery of confessions called Confess. She wanders in and meets the owner Owen, and one thing leads to another and Auburn pretends to be his date and assistant for the night for $200.  Over the next week, Owen and Auburn start to get close. They both, however, are hiding something and filled with secrets and confessions of their own which if they came to light could ruin their happiness that they have found. The love triangle inserts itself wit...
