VBT# Unrequited - Emma Grey

Review: Unrequited - Emma Grey - May 2014

One of my favourite all-time stories is the tale of Cinderella , when the guy meets the girl and when midnight strikes the girl disappears and all the guy is left with is a piece of her clothing or accessories. He does not know her name , but he knows that he has to have her and will do anything to find her. In Unrequited , Kat has to take her two younger twin sisters to the "Unrequited" Concert , so when they board the train with all the other wannabes and concert fans. Kat can't help but think she is in pure hell , that is until she sees the cute guy opposite her , if only she had the guts to talk to him and find out his name. When the train breaks down and the girls are twenty minutes from the arena, Kat sees her day getting worst when the guy from the train steps in and calls and pays for a cab for her and her sisters. At the concert, Kat would rather listen to her Ipod filled with 5 Seconds of Summer than listen to Unrequited's version of music which Kat equals to One Direction. Kat without realising captures the attention of the lead singer Angus . From that moment , the world of Social Media is about to get exciting as he searches for the identity of the girl in Seat L-26 and of course the guy from the train needs to find Kat before he loses her to the celebrity singer.  Who will Kat choose when they both find her and reveal their intentions ? Can Kat live with the public eye on her all the time ? Is Kat ready to play with the big leagues when it comes to her life ?
Unrequited by Emma Grey reminded me a cross between the Cinderella Story movies ( 1-3) and Music and Lyrics starring Hugh Grant and Drew Barrymore especially with the release of the song at the concert part. So readers, if you are wanting a nice romantic teen heartthrob Cinderella Story, then check out "Unrequited" by Emma Grey.
