Review: Attraction- Book #1 Elements of Chemistry Series - Penny Reid - April 2015

One of my favourite themes of books to read is what I like to call Geek Chic Lit, they tend to be books that have the main characters set in jobs like Science/Math or in a purely academic setting at a school like MIT.  I also love this author Penny Reid, I fell in love with her writing when I read The Hooker and The Hermit and from then on, I knew I just had to read all her other books. In Attraction, we meet College virgin Kaitlyn Parker who loves Science and in particular Chemistry. The book starts off with Kaitlyn hiding in the Chemistry cabinet when she overhears a plot to drug Martin and as a bonus try and get pregnant. Martin is the rich frat boy around campus and has a reputation as a playboy, he also happens to be Kaitlyn's lab partner for Chemistry. Kaitlyn's conscience gets the best of her and she heads to a frat party to warn Martin. The thing is though that Martin is attracted to Kaitlyn and her pants are aching for him as well. She knows though that she shouldn't go near him as he will make her cry, and we all know how much Martin loves a challenge and soon the pair find themselves spending more time together and spring break. Has Martin finally found someone he wants to settle down with or has he reverted back to his playboy ways and was Kaitlyn just another conquest when she discovers his mouth on another girl ?
