It seems to be the year of novellas at the moment, so readers if you are wanting a quick read and love to discover new Christian authors and enjoy stories featuring African-Americans, then Renee Allen McCoy's novella Single, Saved and Searching is the book for you as we meet Elisha Maxwell - her younger sister is getting married and wedding bells have been ringing all around Elisha with her friend's weddings and now her sisters . This makes her wonder though when it will be her turn and if you are a single lady in your late 20's and upwards like myself then you too will have asked yourself this same question as you start to wonder will I ever find true love or will I be destined to grow old as a spinster ? I have to admit though I have a relationship , I am now 27 and will be 28 in July and this question crosses my mind all the time as you worry about marriage and a family and if it will ever happen to you. Elisha decides that she doesn't want to end up a spinster and so she makes it her journey and goal to find a husband or at least someone who is her perfect match . Read as Elisha goes through dating and finds two hunky men at the end of her journey but which one is Mr Right - the one she thinks is her perfect match or the guy who she never thought in her wildest dreams that he would be the one she ended up with forever ?

  Review: Punk 57 - Penelope Douglas - October 2016 As soon as I read Bully by Penelope Douglas, I was in love with this author. So when she released a new one who had my favorite theme of penpals and that whole friend to lovers going on, I knew I had to read it. The book started out with a bit of background where we learned about how Misha and Ryen were placed together in a classroom project penpal program. The pair continues to write to each other right through the year, and then they take it to the next level and continue through the rest of their schooling. Fast forward to high school Misha is in a band and Ryen is out with her friends and they complete a scavenger hunt form. Ryen is not what Misha expected especially from her letters.
