Review: Game Changer - Book #6 The Field Party Series - Abbi Glines - March 2022 This year, I was determined to make my way through Abbi Glines's series The Field Party and I did so well with only one book left :). Game Changer was different than the ones previously as all of the others ended up with the two main character's romances becoming a solid thing and the whole act of foreverness. For Asa and Ezmita their story is one of first loves as the pair meet each other and have an amazing night almost saving each other as she stops him from jumping off a bridge and he tells her to be brave and talk to her parents about college. The pair then due to life's circumstances go their separate ways as Asa heads to New Mexico to stay with relatives and Ezmita gets on with her life and is now dating Brett Duncan. The year is 2020 and a time that none of us will ever forget, a time when a disease struck not just one country but the whole world, a disease that caused people to die, an...

Review: Making a Play - Book #5 The Field Party Series - Abbi Glines - August 2019 When all else fails for me, I know that no matter what an Abbi Glines book will keep my interest as it's true I recently read an article that said as we get older, we are less likely to keep our attention alive with boring books and we become more fussy. After reviewing for over 14 years, I have found that the case. The good thing though is that like most readers, I have my favorite authors and one of them is Abbi Glines.  Years ago, I started her The Field Party series and then put it to the side, so this year I decided to go back and finish the series and now I am up to Book #6 as this morning finished Book #5 Making a Play.  In Making a Play, it is Ryker's turn to be struck by the love bug - to find that special someone who will change his life forever.  This book goes deep to redeem Ryker as he was an asshole in earlier books and very shallow, but after Book #4 and seeing how words ...

Review: Losing the Field - Book #4 The Field Party Series - Abbi Glines - August 2018 As a mood reader, I find it can be really hard sometimes to find a good book. On Saturday, I wanted to read and the first two books were a DNF. For me, Abbi Glines is one of those authors I know I always love and so I picked up Losing the Field – Book #4 The Field Party Series. Growing up Tallulah was always the quiet, shy, fat girl and she idolised Nash Lee who was one of the football stars at their high school and he was Captain of the team. On the last day of Eleventh Grade though everything changed for Tallulah as she overheard Ryker tell a joke about not seeing big girls in swimsuits and Nash laughed. That summer, Tallulah started an excercise regime and went on a diet. When she started back 12th grade , she was skinny and looked fabulous - so many people thought she was a new student. For once, she was getting the attention of the guys except for the one she wanted -the one who started this all...

Review: After the Game - Abbi Glines

Review: After the Game - Book #3 The Field Party Series - Abbi Glines - August 2017 You know those mornings when you want to read and so you try a few books and nothing clicks with you, I tend to lately go through this a few days of the week and this Sunday morning was one of those days where I tried at least three books and they just weren't capturing me and inviting me to browse past the first couple of pages and chapters.  Therefore, I went to an author and a title, I knew I would enjoy and read. That book was the third in Abbi Glines's series The Field Party. In Book #2 we saw and heard a snippet about Riley Young and how she was run out of town after accusing Rhett Lawton of rape. He was the golden boy and she was a random girl who was viewed as someone who wanted to make some money by accusing the richest family in town. During Book #2 we saw the nasty side of Rhett which led readers to be on Riley's side and also learn what the men in his family line are capa...
