The Haunting in Connecticut: Growing up, I have always loved horror movies as it was a way for my dad and I was able to just the two of us bond. We would have father/daughter dates to the movies and watch horror/supernatural movies as my mum was a bit of a wimp when it came to scary movies. One of those films we watched together in 2009, was The Haunting in Connecticut. The movie was about a family whose son had been suffering from cancer and to help him recover and have a fresh start, they moved into an older Victorian home only to discover that it was haunted and held a just as scary history. Like most films of this type, they are often based on true events that have happened in history.
