Review: Six Years - Stephanie Witter - June 2015
Another fabulous New Adult story by Stephanie Witter , Six Years shows readers that sometimes age differences can play a huge part in people's lives especially when they are under 18 , but sooner or later - age becomes just a number and thats when age differences including six years no longer matters. For two people though, can they get pass the six years age difference and realise that it truly doesn't matter anymore and that six years does not have to represent them and mean a thing. For Brooklyn and Nolan - they grew up and were neighbours and they were the best of friends - the only difference was that Nolan who became Big No was six years older than Brooklyn who became Little B. On the night of Brooklyn's 12th Birthday , an 18 yr old Nolan - left her a letter and packed up and moved away. Now six years later , Nolan is back and Brooklyn is no longer a sweet little girl - she is a hard girl and dating his ex- high school buddy Mike. He is back because his mother is dying, but also he must finally confront his past and his true feelings for Brooklyn as she is the one thing that has been missing from his life the past six years . He never did forget her , though that isn't how Brooklyn views it - he broke her heart and stomped ou it and crushed a little girl's dream. He was the one guy who betrayed her and that she vowed she would never let another guy get close to her like Nolan did . What will happen though when the spark re-ignites between them , but can Brooklyn prove to Nolan that the six year age gap doesn't matter or will he still be stuck up on age semantics ?
