Review: Never Never - Part #1 - Colleen Hoover and Tarryn Fisher - January 2015


Charlie and Silas were best friends growing up and then went on to date and love one another, that was until a family feud split their two families apart and left Charlie's family with nothing while Silas's still lived in wealth. One morning though, the pair will wake up with no recollection of their past lives and soon discover that they are in it together and must work as a pair to find out what has happened and in doing so find out the truth about what tore their families apart? Near the end of Part #1, we discover that this has been happening for more than a week now and their memories only last 48 hours. Now the clock is ticking, and Charlie is missing, somewhere out in New Orleans. What will happen when the time runs out, and Charlie is left without a memory and Silas to remind her of what's happened?
Never Never Part #1 finished on a cliffhanger, and now I am looking forward to reading Part #2 and seeing how the story plays out. Never Never Part #1 was a quick read and perfect for fans of both Colleen Hoover and Tarryn Fisher.

  Review: Punk 57 - Penelope Douglas - October 2016 As soon as I read Bully by Penelope Douglas, I was in love with this author. So when she released a new one who had my favorite theme of penpals and that whole friend to lovers going on, I knew I had to read it. The book started out with a bit of background where we learned about how Misha and Ryen were placed together in a classroom project penpal program. The pair continues to write to each other right through the year, and then they take it to the next level and continue through the rest of their schooling. Fast forward to high school Misha is in a band and Ryen is out with her friends and they complete a scavenger hunt form. Ryen is not what Misha expected especially from her letters.
