Review: Coronation - Cleo White

Review: Coronation - Cleo White - September 2025

After devouring one of Cleo White’s earlier novels, I couldn’t wait to dive into Coronation—especially since royalty romance is one of my all-time favorite tropes. There’s just something about forbidden love, regal responsibilities, and scandalous secrets that gets my reader heart racing. And let me tell you, Coronation did not disappoint in the spice department.

We meet King Benedict, a reluctant monarch thrust into power after a tragic accident claims the lives of his brother and family. The grief and pressure of ruling a kingdom weigh heavily on him, and when his other brother suggests a night of indulgence at an elite sex party (yes, you read that right), Benedict reluctantly agrees. Enter Zelda Flowers, a rising Hollywood actress who’s tagging along with a friend. Sparks fly, clothes drop, and what follows is a night of unfiltered passion that neither of them expected.

The chemistry between Benedict and Zelda is electric—Cleo White doesn’t hold back on the steam, and if you love your romance with a generous dose of spice, this one’s for you. But it’s not just about the heat. The emotional stakes rise when Zelda discovers she’s pregnant with the King’s baby. Cue the drama, the longing, and the big question: will Benedict step up and claim his queen, or was this just a royal fling?

Coronation is sexy, scandalous, and surprisingly heartfelt. It’s the kind of book you read with a cheeky grin and a racing pulse, perfect for fans of Meghan March, Sierra Simone, or anyone who’s ever dreamed of being swept away by a crown-wearing heartthrob. If you’re in the mood for a spicy escape with a royal twist, this one deserves a spot on your nightstand.

Long live the King—and the drama he brings. 👑🔥
