Review: The Dark Side of Neptune - Veronica Mars Kindle Worlds - GK Parks - March 2014 One of my favorite TV series of all-time is Veronica Mars. I even have a T-shirt that has a picture of her and underneath it reads WWVMD - What Would Veronica Mars Do? Growing up, I had a thing for teen detectives and spies which are why I adore VM, and her witty humor makes the show what it is. I had discovered a couple of years back, that Kindle Worlds were offering fan fiction of some of my favorite shows including Veronica Mars, so I went and bought a few. The Dark Side of Neptune takes us into the world of Veronica and her dad Keith. Keith is currently out chasing bail jumpers when one of them tries to run Keith over causing Sheriff Lamb to head to Neptune High and pick up Veronica. For those who have seen the series, you will know that there is no love between Sheriff Lamb and Veronica. Veronica nosy and trying to help searches for the bail jump...

While working as the rodeo doc, she turns a blind eye to the bulging biceps and Wrangler butts that pass by. Except for one cowboy—and he’s worst of all. West Calhoun is a womanizer, plain and simple. The tie-down roper and reality TV star is never seen twice with the same woman. When he’s not busy on his family’s growing ranch or trying to keep the TV cameras on his good side, West has his eyes on that big win. But he’s distracted by the eccentric new-age rodeo doctor. After a one-night stand with Malou, he’s hooked, but convincing her that he isn’t with a dozen other women might be more challenging than taking on a herd of angry bulls. Review: Alienated - Melissa Landers

Image
Review: Alienated - Book #1 Alienated Series - Melissa Landers - February 2014 Sit back and imagine , which side of the fence would you be on if an alien race that looked like me and you and acted a bit like us decided to come to earth and integrate their current generation of teens into our high schools ? Would you be supportive of it or would you be one of those against and would deem it as an abomination ? Reading Alienated by Melissa Landers, reminded me ALOT of the TV Show which unfortunately only lasted one season Star-Crossed in which a race of alien landed on Earth and years later they decided to pick five of them to integrate and attend school with the humans. Some of the kids accepted it and others were totally against it and wished them harm and foul play ensued. In Alienated, Cara has been chosen to host Aelyx - one of the aliens. He will spend time here on Earth and then vice versa she will attend his planet. During Alienated, we read as nations di...

Review: Channel20Something - Amy Patrick

Review: Channel20Something - Book #1 20Something Series - Amy Patrick - August 2014 As someone who likes journalism and reading books about reporters , I was interested to read Amy Patrick's new series 20 Somethings, also being 20-Something myself intrigued me even further as often being in your twenties can be a crucial time of self-discovery. This book surrounds the daily life of news reporter Heidi Haynes who is in her first year of interning for the TV news. She dreams of making it big one day , but life keeps getting in the way - mainly its the guys that keep getting in her way of plans. First , Josh - the one she trusted and ended up having to transfer colleges , now Hale - her smalltown boyfriend who is happy being a farmer on his parent's plantation and newcomer Aric - who reading this I kept picturing the guy who plays Alcide on True Blood. Aric arrives at the station as the new Sports Reporter and instantly there is an attraction between ...

Review: Vicious - Sara Shepard

Review: Vicious - Book #16 Pretty Little Liars Series - Sara Shepard - December 2014 Today is a sad moment, I have officially read the last EVER Pretty Little Liars book written by Sara Shepard. If their is one series in which I have enjoyed each and every book, It is the Pretty Little Liars series. Over the books we have read and seen each character grow, have family/relationship problems and somehow always end up in trouble as "A" hooks onto their lives and airs their dirty laundry for the world to know. I remember reading the first book and thinking this is pretty good and then reading at that stage the first four books , then it grew to eight and then eventually sixteen - who would have thought that the author could come up with new and exciting storylines for the four girls , but she did it and I loved every single page of this series in all sixteen of her books - though technically seventeen if you count Pretty Little Secrets. In this last book,...

Review: Pretty Little Liars:Aria Montgomery's Night at Radley Sanitarium: A Masquerade Tale - Camilla Marks

Image
Review: Aria Montgomery's Night at Radley Sanitarium :A Masquerade Tale - Camilla Marks- June 2013 Remember when Aria first met Ezra's mother at the Art Gallery opening and how she tried to bribe Aria to stay away from Ezra , just like she did with Maggie. However Aria's not like Maggie at all and she loves Ezra and she won't back down. If she can handle "A" then Diane Fitzgerald shouldn't be a problem. All though is not as it seems when Aria is invited to a Masquerade ball under the impression that it is a college secret writing society known as "The Quills' social night. Gemma is the head to "The Quills' and her father is the warden for the Radley, where of course Mona is locked up after she tried to kill Aria and her friends. At the party though, all is not as it appears when Aria notices a figure in a red coat and blonde hair. Is Ali here and alive or is something more sinister at play and the question hangs on whe...
