Review: Trolled - Book #8 Internet Famous Collection - M.K Moore - September 2020 After enjoying the Modern Princess Collection which was set at Camelot University and was a take on several different fairytales, when I read that the authors had another collection called Internet Famous. As soon as I also saw that it was related to internet culture, that was also held an immediate interest in reading the series. Trolled is based on the fairytale of Snow White. In Trolled we meet Jensen whom as a teenager his parents were killed and he ended up as an 18-year-old looking after his younger brothers. Something Jensen was good at was gaming and so he began streaming and built himself an empire and a great following to help support his family. Of course, streaming doesn't come without its trolls and one in particular Jessica has captured Jensen's attention and soon Jensen starts to game just so he can be trolled by Jessica. What will happen though when he learns that she lives clos...

Review: Nobody's Victim - Carrie Goldberg - August 2019 Going through a recent phase of crime non-fiction and serial killers. I came across this book "Nobody's Victim" by Carrie Goldberg. When the crime is done virtually and can fall into harassment, sadly it is a lot harder for the criminals to be charged and that is where lawyer Carrie Goldberg comes in. After one of her intern...

Review: Fugly - Claire Waller - November 2019 This book had captured my attention through the title "Fugly". The book starts with Beth Soames who is at the library reading a psychology book when she meets a beautiful girl who reminds her of a fairy Amy. The pair chat and you can tell that Amy is a genuinely nice person, but Beth, as we are about to discover, is a bit messed up. Beth has always been a big girl and loves to make fun of beautiful people and troll them as a way to make herself feel better. Online, she can be anybody she wants whereas IRL is a shy girl who is so insecure that I have to admit she started to annoy me. It's like come on Beth, get over freaking yourself - not everyone is out to get you. While she is online trolling, she meets online Tori who loves trolling too. When Beth is with Tori, the pair start to take things to the next level as Tori is a pro in hacking. Throughout the novel, Tori and Beth get closer to IM and start...
