Review: You Can Run - Stephanie Hazeltine

Review: You Can Run - Stephanie Hazeltine - April 2025

What should have been a happy date for Ivy, ended up in a nightmare that never ended for her. Ivy tended to be the bookish sister and it was her younger sister Naomi who was all about the boys. When someone takes an interest in Ivy at their dad's restaurant, Ivy decides to take the chance and offers to go on a date with him. She has a drink for him but gets some weird juju vibes and that night says thank you, but I would rather be friends talk. The guy though doesn't take it lightly and begins to stalk her. Despite everything, the guy ends up killing her mum and sister as no one will stop him from being with Ivy - his chosen one. The book then jumps to Ivy and her dad being in the WITSEC program and Ivy starting college. She meets Zac on campus and sparks fly despite Ivy trying to push him away to keep him safe, he keeps coming back for more as he wants a relationship with his Angel aka Ivy. In the background, our stalker is becoming a serial killer by killing females that slightly resemble Ivy and leaving notes for her at the crime scenes. What will happen when he tracks them down to Bayonne University? Can Ivy save Zac from the same fate as her mother and sister, when the stalker ends up kidnapping him? Find out in this awesome romantic suspense read that gave me Meli Raine vibes with her various series. If you love WITSEC reads, then You Can Run by Stephanie Hazeltine needs to be added to the top of your list.
