Threads West: An American Saga

Review : Threads West : An American Saga - Book #1 - Reid Lance Rosenthal - July 2009

Are you a fan of the western novels. of cowboys and indians ? Or do you prefer the historical side , of all the courting, mannerisms and expectations of the years gone by ?. If so, then Threads West is a book that is right up your alley as you sit back and let it take you all the way back to the year 1855. Threads West is the first book in what will be a 6 novel saga and reading it , it kind of reminded me of "Gone With the Wind" with Scarlett O'Hara and Rhett Butler. The story follows four characters , we have Johannes Svenson , Reuben , Sarah and Zeb. Threads West follows their journeys from their home countries to the land of America. Soon these four people will meet, each with a destiny and a plan of their own , however as we soon discover , this journey they are all taking will intertwine each other together and leave us with a novel of romance, adventure, thrills as they each learn to brace and harness the world of as Will Smith sung "The Wild Wild West". A Novel, that in places is slow to read but in others passes by quite quickly and once you get hooked , you will not be able to put it down as you wait patiently for Book #2 of the saga to arrive.
