Looking for a nice easy romance to read , something with a bit of oomph to it ?
Review: Lean on Me - Book #2 Holloway Series - HelenKay Dimon - October 2012
Cassidy is back in her hometown of Holloway, but of course as we all know by reading or even some of living in a smalltown - the gossip train always runs a bit quicker and after an interview that Cassidy did a few years back has left her name in the mud when it comes to the townspeople. Home to help her father Allan and the house, Cassidy will be in for a big surprise as she soon discovers that the house is in foreclosure , being broke herself with her financer leaving her in the dust after robbing her blind - can Cassidy come up with a plan to help her dad save their houses ? What happens when one of Cassidy's old school chums decides that this is his chance to finally get the girl of his dreams - Micah Anders, won't have anyone talking bad about Cassidy. Can Micah prove to his friends that she isn't the same girl the town of Holloway is making her out to be ?
A nice, quick and easy read that made me think of the new Australian Penguin's line Destiny Romance and it is one story that if it was set in Australia you could have placed it in either line.
I look forward to checking back and reading the first book in the Holloway Series as well as checking out to see if HelenKay has written any others previously.
