Review: Beyond Me - Sex on the Beach Series - Jennifer Probst - March 2014

First was Mackenzie's story and now it's time for her friend Quinn's spring break tale. Quinn is the workaholic and the responsible one in her group and this trip is pushing her out of her comfort zone. Even worst since her friends have made this pact , to this spring break to go out and lose their virginity and have their very own spring fling, this spring break.
Ditched by her friends, Quinn goes wandering around and lands at a big house hosting a party. Not normally her scene, but wanting to try something different and with not much else to do, she goes in. It's here that she spots a handsome guy, the most handsome specimen she has ever seen. James - the owner of the house and rich guy hosts the best parties of the Spring break and can have any girl he wants , that is until he spots Quinn. The result of him and his mates conversation ends up in a She's the One moment where James's friends bet him that he won't be able to sleep with Quinn before the week is up. Of course, we all know where this will head as Quinn and James get together and their feelings quickly change from a fling to romance. Like the first book though, these two will have a few bumps in their plans - the first when Quinn finds out about the bet - as those who have watched enough movies , know exactly how this works out for both parties - the during and after. The second is when the readers discover that Quinn's guy has something to do with Mackenzie's pics in the tabloids. Will Quinn be able to forgive James for betraying her trust a second time ? Will their relationship remain a spring fling or will it become something more ?

Review: Steel Princess - Book #2 Royal Elite Series - Rina Kent - December 2019 At the end of Book #1, we were left on a cliffhanger of Elsa being pushed into the pool. At the beginning of book #2, she is saved by a newcomer to the school - Knox.  We can see some friendly flirting but nothing more going on between these two, but it riles up Aiden who still has this mindset of "if I can't have her, no-one can" especially since he is supposed to be engaged to Silver Queens. During Book #2 Elsa starts to recall some more memories and goes to Dr.Khan in hopes that he can open her Pandora's box and can restore her full memories of what happened before she was seven years old. We also catch a glimpse during this book of her past and why Aiden King's father blames her for his mother's death and why Aiden considered Elsa a ghost. Review: Dr. Strange Beard - Book #5 Winston Brothers Series - Penny Reid - July 2018 If there is a family that I love to read about it has been the Winston Brothers. This has to be one of my favorite book series out there as the brothers ; you can't help but fall in love with them all - with their funny quirks and their redneck comments.
